Ink Slinger. pixel bender. curious adventurer.

Ink kind of runs through my veins. My father was a 1970’s NYC train graffiti artist, and it was his black books that really set me off on my path. However, those days of spray paint and paint markers have been left behind to dive into another realm of my curiosities. As I grew up, like other kids in the 90s, I became fascinated with Calvin & Hobbes, Dungeons & Dragons, Pokemon, and Metal Gear Solid just to name a few. I fell so deep into these fantastic worlds that when I was away from them all I did was draw them.

After college, I landed a job in my career field and kept art as a late-night hobby. However, after a few years of not taking art seriously, I decided to make a change and began commission and freelance work to help pay the bills. As good as it felt to be paid to draw pictures for people, I felt very unfulfilled. These drawings did not bring me the same joy I felt while diving down the rabbit hole of the strange worlds in my mind. The worlds that felt so similar to the fantastic worlds of my childhood. So now I am drawing the short stories, and characters from this Rabbit Hole to bring to life in print.

P.S. I may not play as many of those video games anymore, but Calvin & Hobbes and Dungeon & Dragons are still part of my everyday intake lol.
